Involved in the floor covering industry since 1977, with installations, store ownership and inspections, I've come to see the importance of unbiased, independent, and accurate information. Since becoming a certified inspector in 1997, I've earned the reputation of independence and accuracy with conclusions based upon facts and industry standards, I've seen how "facts" can be distorted and misrepresented in order to gain a specific result for a particular purpose. I also realize that over time, this practice by many "independent" inspectors not only damages their reputations, but also the reputations of the commissioning parties.
